Fine Flake "Grass"

from our archives
Old-time "grass" accents for any
kind of diorama, holiday display,
model train layouts and even for
crafting ornaments. Made from
finely-cut straw flakes that are
colored in vibrant hues, both of
these grass flitters have lighter
and darker bits mixed in to lend
it a more naturalistic look.
Produced in Bavaria, Germany,
we imported it from a family-run
manufacturer back in the '90s.
Each jar contains 1 ounce net wt.
of Flitter grass flakes which fluff
out into 3/4 of a cup in volume.
Iridescent 'Fairy Sparkles' Fine Glass Glitter

What a great find! While organizing our
glass glitters storage boxes, we found
vintage bags of fine fairy sparkle glitter.
Purchased from Friedrich Herold GmbH
of Chamerau, Germany, in Spring 1988,
these are the very same glimmers they
used to add sparkling accents to their
old-time cardboard cutout decorations.
These beautiful fairy sparkles are
a mix of very fine clear glass glitter
with teeny-tiny iridescent glimmer.
Each glass vial contains 20 grams of fairy sparkles - Volume approx. 1-1/2 tbsp.
