Valentine Hearts
Wow! These antique Dresden paper
hearts are more than 120 years old!
Made in Germany in the 1890's, we
purchased a quantity of these nifty
die-cuts from the Mary Merritt Doll
Museum in Douglassville, PA.
Still in very good, unused, condition
the aged, bronze-colored hearts are
speckled with metallic gold highlights.
Please note that the patterning of
the gold accenting varies widely on
every sheet. Die-cuts are made of
a heavy-weight, embossed paper.
Dresden Valentine hearts are
1-1/2" wide by 1-1/8" high.
Sheet of 10 pieces.
1910's Antique Scraps
Valentine Cherub with Heart
This sweet cherub carries a bright
red heart filled with lots of love! The
lightly-embossed die-cut scrap is
printed on heavy-weight paper and

antique scrap is perfect for making
Valentine ornaments and cards.
We acquired these scraps already
cut apart from the original sheets,
so while there was no identifying
publishers mark, one did have an
attached connective ladder that
read "Printed in Germany."
Valentine cherub scraps are
3" high by 2" wide.
Sold as a set of 3 pieces.

1940's Vintage Stickers
Floral Valentine Cherub
Before self-adhesive stickers were
invented, gummed seals such as our
Valentine hearts were the popular
way to embellish envelopes, place
cards and on party favor baskets.
Made with a water soluble gum on
the back, these die-cut seals are
as bright and cheerful as the day
they were created in the 1940's.
While unmarked, these seals were
manufactured in the U.S.A., most
probably by the Dennison Mfg. Co.
Valentine heart seals are
1-7/8" wide by 1-1/2" high.
Sold as a set of 8 pieces.
