These clear glass domes are a special way to show off a favorite collectible or even an imaginative decorative tableau of your own creation. Manufactured in Corning, New York by Corning Inc., the shipping labels on the cartons are all dated April 12, 1989. Original old stock from our archives, the authentic Pyrex domes are made of crystal clear glass. The domes can be used with or without a wood base (sold separately).

Vintage 1989 Walnut Wood Bases
These top-quality solid walnut wood bases were made for us by a family-owned
woodworking shop in Illinois back in the 1980's. The turned wood bases have
a satin lacquer finish.
Do note that as a natural product, the wood grain of
each base will vary. Quantities are limited of these 34-year-old bases.
Important Info about the Small Base: because these turned wood bases
were custom made for a Blümchen Christmas decoration that our artists
permanently glued together, the small glass domes sit edge-to-edge atop
the turned wood base. We recommend that you secure the dome to the
base with a repositioned putty or small dabs of a white tacky glue.
