This exquisite ornament is so delightful that you will want to display it all year round! Designed and crafted in our own atelier, the dainty glass goldfinch was skillfully painted by one of our artists, so each is unique with a personality all its own. Meticulously crafted using only vintage and old-style materials, the rare compo lacquer German crabapples date to the 1930's. Featuring swirls of silver plated Kantille and a Bouillon wire arch, it is embellished with Lametta tinsel roping, old stock flowers, leaves and stamen. The tiny goldfinch bird eggs are hand-painted spun cotton. Mouth blown glass birds and nests were made especially for us in Germany.
