Old stock treasures from the Erzgebirge mountains of East Germany, these little nutcracker ornaments were made with an attention to detail that is amazing! The toy soldiers have a lever that lifts up and down so the mouth opens and closes, just like a full-size nutcracker figure! Crafted by hand using 14 pieces of turned or shaped wood, our vintage ornaments date to the 1980's and are all in like-new condition. Bottom of the ornament is stamped "Made in German Democratic Republic."
