Wow -- what a fantastic find! When we decided it was finally time to clean out our very oldest project boxes, it was quite the surprise to discover that we still had some 'Neil' sledding boy cotton ornaments which were offered in our Holiday 1990 catalog. Carefully stored in an airtight container for 35 years, all of these Neil ornaments are in like-new condition. A rare collectible from our past, it's available in limited quantities only. Crafted by our artists back in 1990, this Christmas ornament was created using old-style materials. Featuring a body of hand-spun, 100% cotton, his porcelain head with finely hand painted face was custom made in the USA especially for us. Wearing a chenille-trimmed snow suit of dyed vintage cotton batting, his little wooden sled was made by a small family firm in Germany.
