These charming antique die-cuts of ladies' hands holding vignettes and roses depict a motif which was very popular in Victorian times. Made in Germany by Littauer & Boysen, one of the most famous producers of top-quality chromolithographs, L & B was founded in Berlin in 1882. Finely die-cut and deeply embossed, these old "chromos" have a satin varnish gloss finish. The original sheets were marked with the publisher's trademark of "L & B GERMANY" and the item number "32503."
